To delete an object on the whiteboard

1. Select the object (i.e. left-click on the object)

2. Press the button on the top, or the DEL key on your keyboard

Notes:

     * For step 1, make sure that you pressed the icon before you left-click on the    

     object you want to select for deletion.

     * There is no built in UNDO feature in VMT Chat. However, to undo a delete

       operation you can do the following:

               1. scroll back in white board history to find the deleted object,

               2. select and copy the object  by clicking on the copy button (or by pressing

               CTRL + C),

               3. move the scroll bar to the current state of the white board

               4. Paste the object by pressing the paste button (or by pressing CTRL + V).

Hint:

The white board does not have a "clear all" feature. However, you can delete multiple object at the same time.

However, please don't forget that you are sharing these objects with your teammates. So before cleaning up everything on the board it will be nice to ask your teammates whether you should be doing that.

To delete several objects:

1.  Press the    icon to toggle selection.

2.  Select your first object by doing a left click on that object

3.  Press and hold the SHIFT key.

4.  As you are holding the SHIFT key, click on other objects to add them to your selection.

5.  Press the DEL key on your keyboard.
