The Knower Fund is a special fund set aside by the SLA Philadelphia Chapter to support and encourage student members to explore special libraries and the information profession. Awards subsidize conference and event attendance, student memberships, and research programs in promotion of SLA.
The Knower fund memorializes Beverly M. Knower, a librarian at the Sun Oil Company, active member of SLA, and student advocate.
April 4 th is the application deadline for this year's award.
