  • When do I register?
Students register based on their current credit class standings. For example, sophomores register before freshmen (first-term freshmen receive a computer-generated schedule during their first term). Check DrexelOne for your time ticket for an upcoming registration period at http://one.drexel.edu/cp/home/loginf. A time ticket calendar is also posted on the Student Resource Center (SRC) Web site.

Whom do I contact if I am having problems registering?
You should contact your advisor immediately. If you are unable to register for a class that is closed, your advisor may be able to add you. If you are getting errors, your advisor may be able to take care of the problem. If he or she cannot assist you, your advisor will inform you of someone who can.

Where do I get an Enroll/Withdrawal form?
You may obtain an electronic version of the Enroll/Withdrawal Form from the Student Resource Center (SRC) Web site. Please note that the left-hand side of the form applies to "enrolls," while the right-hand side denotes "withdrawals." As a rule, a form is not needed for dropping classes or adding open classes during registration time as these changes should be made via DrexelOne.

How do I "add" (enroll for) a course?
In general, as long as a course is open during registration you should be able to add yourself, as long as you have met its prerequisites (if any). If a class is full, follow the instructions available at the Student Resource Center (SRC) Web site.

How do I "drop" a course?
You may drop a course during registration as well as up to the 2nd week of the term. You do not need to fill out any forms. You should be able to drop courses through DrexelOne. No notation of any dropped classes will appear on your final transcript.

How do I "withdraw" from a course?
In order to withdraw from a course, you must submit a completed Enroll/Withdrawal Form to 306 Rush between the 3rd and 6th week only of the term. You need to obtain an instructor signature for the form (an e-mail from the instructor may be submitted in place of the signature). When you have obtained this, you need a signature from your IST academic advisor. You also need to sign the form yourself. You need to turn the completed form in to the Student Resource Center (SRC) in the Main Building before the 5 PM deadline on the Friday of the 6th week of classes. A notation of "W" will appear on your final transcript.

What is a normal course load?
The normal course load for full-time undergraduate students is 15-18 credits per term. However, tuition payments cover a maximum of 20 credits per term. You must pay on a per credit basis for any additional credits over 20. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR OVER 20 credits. You must see your academic advisor for an override of this restriction, and granting of this override is restricted to last term graduating seniors only.

Can I take a course under the Credit/No Credit option?
The credit/no credit option offers students a broadened educational experience in free elective choices. A course taken under this option will be awarded a grade of Credit ("CR") if the student earns an A, B or C grade. A grade of D or F is reported as a No Credit ("NCR") and the credits are not included in graduation credits. The GPA is not affected by either grade. See your academic advisor to fill out the appropriate paperwork to add or delete this option by the end of the second week of classes. Only six free elective courses at the rate of one course per term may be taken under credit/no credit.
