PhD: Fall only

| How long will it take before I hear if I'm accepted to a graduate program? |
|
| Although it generally takes only a couple of weeks, please allow up to eight weeks for processing, as the
application instructions state. Your application will not be reviewed for an admissions decision until it is complete.

| Do the people writing my letters of recommendation have to use the Drexel University form? |
|
| No. A letter on their own letterhead is also acceptable. |

| I don't have an undergraduate degree in Information Science or Library Science. Can I still apply? |
|
Yes. The College accepts students with a wide variety of academic backgrounds into the Library and Information systems degrees. Software Engineering Degrees require a degree with previous software development.

| Can I come in and sit down with someone to discuss the program? |

| May I defer my admission? |
|

| I need to apply for Special Associate Status. What do I need to do? |
|
| If you are a student in another accredited graduate program and want to take a class for credit to transfer back to your home institution, you may apply for Special Associate Status. Fill out our online application form using program code NONMAT-G-IST. Have your department head or academic advisor send us a letter stating that you are in good academic standing and have permission to take the class in question.
