| The College of IST website lists the types of financial assistance that are available specifically through the College http://www.cis.drexel.edu/PS/Fin/. International applicants may be eligible to receive Academic Merit Scholarships, Dean’s Fellowships, Credit for Work Experience, Affiliation Discounts, Course Transfers and research assistantships. Research assistantships are only available to new, full-time Ph.D. students; there are no assistantships for Master’s level students. Please see the Funding Your Graduate Education webpage on the IST website for more information. |

| Only accepted College of IST graduate students may submit a completed IST Scholarship Interest Web Form (FAIWF) through the College’s website by the application deadline. Please remember that each award has specific criteria. Please read carefully to determine your eligibility and submit all required documentation for the scholarship(s) for which you wish to be considered. |

| The graduate Dean’s Fellowship is an academic merit award based upon an applicant’s cumulative GPA. This award is automatically considered during the admissions review and awarded if the criteria are met. |

| How do I apply for a graduate assistantship in the College of IST? |
|
| Full-time Ph.D* applicants interested in research assistantship awards should check off the box on the paper graduate application or answer “yes” to the assistantship question on the online application. *IST awards graduate research assistantships to new, full-time Ph.D. students only. There are no assistantships for Master's level students.

| I am a graduate International Applicant and I want to know what I must send in terms of transcripts... |
|
Along with your application, you must enclose official transcripts (mark sheets and degree certificates) in your native language and in English from all colleges and graduate/professional schools that you attended. Do not send transcripts from secondary schools. If your school issues only one transcript for life, you may send a notarized photocopy, bearing the seal on each page. Applicants are responsible for supplying all necessary documentation required, paying all necessary fees, contacting a certification agency and submitting transcripts to WES for evaluation if necessary.
