The iSchool at Drexel has an 8th place ranking in the Information Science/Studies category of the Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index (FSP Index) published by Academic Analytics, LLC. Our faculty are ranked among those at Ivy League universities and some of the largest information science institutions in the country.
The FSP Index ranks PhD faculty productivity based on five factors: books published, journal publications, citations of journal articles, federal-grant dollars awarded and honors and awards.
The 24 iSchool PhD faculty identified by the Index scored well in many of the subcategories:
- 4th in journal publications per faculty
- 5th in citations per faculty
- 7th in percentage of faculty with a journal publication
The top ten listed universities are:
