Totes for Tuscaloosa: Support Victims of the Recent Tornadoes
5/9/2011 11:17:13 AM
In the aftermath of the recent devastating tornadoes in the south, The iSchool at Drexel is teaming up with the University of Alabama to sponsor a tote bag drive. Reusable totes are needed by volunteer organizations throughout Alabama to aid in the delivery of food, packing supplies, school supplies, clothing, and other essential items.
Many colleges distribute tote bags at conferences, and faculty, staff, and students also collect tote bags as swag at various events. While small, these items can make a difference to people and organizations in need.
If you have any tote bags you can contribute, please deliver them to the Rush Building, 30 N. 33rd Street (between Market and Arch streets), Room 306 by noon Friday, May 13, 2011.
