Dr. Danuta A. Nitecki, MS '72, has been appointed the Dean of Drexel Libraries following a national search.  Dr. Nitecki will also hold an appointment as Professor of Information Science in the iSchool.  Dr. Nitecki has served as an Associate University Librarian at Yale University Library since 1996 and previously held administrative positions in the libraries at the University of Maryland at College Park, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  She will be joining Drexel in January 2010. 

 

Dean David E. Fenske served as the Chair of the Search Committee.
