Healthcare Informatics at Drexel
Drexel University's Institute for Healthcare Informatics offers a three-course Certificate in Healthcare Informatics designed to increase students' knowledge of health information technology, and management of the complex social and organizational issues surrounding this major change in healthcare. Graduates of the program will gain knowledge and skills useful in taking on additional healthcare IT-related responsibilities or embarking upon new careers as managers or developers of healthcare IT systems. Increasingly, consumer advocates and citizens are choosing to expand their understanding of this fast-growing field and its impact on their personal health.
The Institute for Healthcare Informatics is a joint venture of The iSchool at Drexel, Drexel's School of Public Health, The College of Nursing and Health Professions and The School of Medicine.
