The College offers a variety of options that provide an opportunity for librarians, information systems professionals, and specialists in related fields to update their education or develop new expertise.

Post-Master's Certificate of Advanced Study

The Post Master's Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) is a non-degree program that provides specialized training beyond the master's degree. CAS students work with a faculty advisor to design a practical program of study that provides new skills. The program is not research oriented, nor intended to provide credits that can be applied toward doctoral studies.

Post-Master's Study

In addition, individuals who already hold a masters degree in Information Systems or Library and Information Science from Drexel University may take selected courses for graduate credit.

Certificate in Healthcare Informatics

This comprehensive certificate program is designed for information professionals, clinical personnel and healthcare support personnel who want to increase their knowledge of health information technology and management of the complex social and organizational issues surrounding this major change in healthcare.  This online certificate program will provide an intensive introduction to the evolving field of Medical/Health Informatics.  The goal of the Certificate in Healthcare Informatics is to provide knowledge and skills in the application of information technology (IT) in the provision of healthcare.
