| Master of Science in Software Engineering
Admissions Requirements
Prospective students may apply to one of the College's graduate programs by submitting the following required materials:
- Graduate application
- Official final transcripts from ALL colleges/universities attended
- One letter of recommendation required, two suggested
- Essay/Statement of purpose and Current resume
- Official
Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores (may be waived with a 3.2 GPA or in
the last half (credits) of the undergraduate degree; department
decision)
- Official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Scores are required for applicants whose bachelor's degree is from a
non-U.S. institution. Students must obtain a 600 on the written exam or a 100 on the Internet based exam.
- I-20 form and accompanying bank documents are required for international applicant matriculation (Below)
- WES (World Education Service) Course-by-Course Evaluation of foreign transcripts/degrees is required for international applicants
- Advanced
capability in a structured programming language such as Pascal, C, or
Ada, or an object-oriented language such as C++ or Smalltalk
- Undergraduate courses
- Systems analysis and design or software engineering
- Data structures and algorithms
- Discrete mathematics
