Dr. Gasson's teaching interests include social informatics, qualitative research methods, systems analysis & design, project management, IS management, and organizational skills for information professionals. Research interests include improvisational IS design, wicked problems in organizational & IT innovation, engagement in online learning, and knowledge management in virtual organizations. Dr. Gasson's industry experience spans consultancy in business process redesign & IT systems architecture, IS group management, project management, and software engineering. Her current research project focuses on methods for the co-design of business-process and IT systems involving boundary-spanning organizational groups.
