Professor Morris has over 20 years’ experience serving in libraries: academic, special, school media, and public. Her research interests include the socio-cultural anthropology of urban and rural libraries, reading interests and social epistemologies of inner-city adolescents, multicultural literature, especially pertaining to picturebooks and storytelling, and cultural competency practices for urban public service librarians. |
