Dr. Neuman's primary research interests are learning in information-rich environments, instructional systems design, the use of media for learning, and school library media programs. She has taught courses in all these areas as well as in qualitative research methods, library program assessment, and information services for people with disabilities. Her professional experience includes designing instructional materials for children with disabilities and serving as the writer for the national guidelines for the school library media profession.
