Dr. Khoo's research investigates the understandings and practices that users bring to their interactions with information systems, with a focus on educational technologies and digital libraries. He will be teaching classes in human computer interaction, and the social dimensions of computer use. He has carried out research in the Himalayas, with a major telecommunications corporation, and with the National Science Digital Library (nsdl.org).
