The following tables list all IST scholarship opportunities. Please read each category carefully as each has its own set of criteria. All eligible students and applicants can apply for any available aid provided they meet the stated criteria and submit the required documentation.

David and Joanne L. Witiak Endowed Fund

Provides financial assistance to an iSchool undergraduate student, who will then receive the scholarship each subsequent year of her/his UG tenure, as long as s/he maintains a 3.0 GPA.


Edith L. Forsythe Scholarship Trust Fund

A loan fund available to undergraduate and graduate iSchool students in good academic standing and with financial need. International students are not eligible to borrow from this fund.

• Send detailed request (email preferred to Kristen Samec) including name, address, student ID, program, credits completed, cumulative GPA, and amount requesting to borrow. Funds may only be used for tuition.
SPECIAL CRITERIA AWARDS
David and Frances Heffner Endowed Scholarship

Award for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in information systems. International students are not eligible. Criteria for award: • Good character • Strong work ethic • Leadership ability • Good academic standing.

Diana Woodward Award

Awarded to a finishing undergraduate student based on: • Superior academic performance • Sensitivity to social, philosophical, and ethical issues of the information field • Potential leadership in the field.

• Recipients chosen by faculty vote in Spring term. No application required.
Herleen and Desmond English Technology Scholarship

Scholarship available for an iSchool freshman minority female student.
