| Scholarship Overview The iSchool awards scholarships once a year in the Fall term and only accepts online applications. The application deadline for Fall 2008 scholarships is May 13, 2008. No late submissions will be accepted. Many different types of assistance are available, including research assistantships for new, full-time PhD students (there are no assistantships for Master's level students), endowed scholarships, Dean's Fellowships, and IST Alumni loan funds. All eligible, degree seeking, continuing students and newly accepted, degree seeking applicants are encouraged to apply. The iSchool scholarship committee generally awards the scholarships evenly between continuing and new students, and no distinction is made between online and on campus students. Full-time PhD applicants interested in research assistantship awards should check the corresponding box on the graduate application. |
