Catalog Course Description:
The objective of this course is to study project management in the context of software systems development. The course will cover the processes, contexts, metrics, planning and management concerns of managing projects for modern software systems.

INFO 200 Minimum Grade: D or ISYS 200 Minimum Grade: D
and
CS 133 Minimum Grade: D or CS 260 Minimum Grade: D
Junior or senior standing
Curriculum Role:
This is a required course for the BS in Information Technology, the BS in Information Systems, and the BS in Software Engineering. It is taken by students in or following their junior year, but is considered a senior-level course.
Course Rationale:
In covering the planning and management aspects of systems development projects, this course focuses on the critical aspects of systems development that reduce risk and improve the likelihood of project success.
