Database Administration is a continuation of Database Management Systems, and includes the following: advanced ERD techniques, database management system internals and advanced elements of the SQL language, as well as stored procedures and triggers, specifically as demonstrated in the Oracle implementation.

INFO 210 Database Management Systems
CS 390 Data Structures OR CS 260 Data Structures

This course presents basic technology for database administration.
Course Rationale:
This course establishes and provides the necessary techniques and theory for students wanting to become a database management system administrator.

Upon successful completion of this course, a student will be able to:
Perform advanced ERD analysis
Explain how a real RDBMS works
