| The iSchool's Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) degree has focused on preparing students with the skills they will need in the business world to create complex systems that people will use. Allied with these skills are those that focus on the myriad of technologies that can be used to create these systems. The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) degree's focus is just this - the study of the plethora of technologies that are available for creating complex systems. Like the BSIS program, the BSIT program is not about any particular technology per se, but rather more intently focused on the use of technologies for solving complex problems in computing systems. |
