| The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program is designed for information systems professionals who hold a bachelors degree and are serious about pursuing a masters degree to broaden and formalize their knowledge about information systems and information technology. The curriculum incorporates a principled approach to the analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, assessment, and enhancement of large-scale information systems. The program accommodates students with a thorough understanding of computerized information systems as well as those who are just beginning to explore the field. Many MSIS students are working professionals who are seeking to enhance their systems skills. Indeed, in todays challenging corporate environment, systems specialists must stay current with new technologies and techniques. The MSIS degree is offered on-campus and on-line. Students may take the degree completely on-campus, completely on-line, or as mixture of the two. One of the first masters degree programs offered completely online, the program is recognized as a national model for long-distance learning. Classes are conducted via the Internet, providing an intensive learning experience with the same content and quality as the degree available through the campus-based program. Employers know the value of a Drexel systems degree. The University enjoys national and international recognition as a leader in such areas as business, engineering, and information science and technology. |
