Selecting Courses
Students are welcome to take one or more courses per term. The
information below are guidelines for you to tailor to your full or part
time status.
MS Students
The following classes are running on campus in Sacramento in the Fall 2009 term:
INFO 520: Tuesday, 6 - 8 p.m.
INFO 515: Thursday, 6 - 8:50 p.m.
Your advisor will be in contact to discuss these or other online scheduling options.
MSIS Students
For those in the MSIS program, we recommend that students complete all
of their Foundation courses before beginning their core classes, if
possible. You will find that many of the Foundation courses are
prerequisites to core courses. If you have fulfilled your Foundation
Courses, many students find it helpful to begin their Core Courses.
The following classes are running on campus in Sacramento in the Fall 2009 term:

Course Sections Online versus On Campus
When you are selecting courses, you will notice that classes all have
two sets of numbers that distinguish them from other courses in the
catalog. The first set of numbers identifies the course (for instance
INFO 510). The second set of numbers distinguishes the course SECTION
(for instance INFO 510-600 or INFO 510-900).
Courses with 600+ SECTION numbers are on-campus classes. On-campus
classes are also listed with a meeting day, time, and room location.
Courses with 900+ SECTION numbers are online classes. Online classes
are also listed with no meeting day, time or location. They are
flexible with your schedule. They appear on the SRC website as
Online-DeL Blackboard.
Example: INFO 510-600+ is an on-campus class and INFO 510-900+ is an online class.
